Jeanell Carolyn Davis Engle, 79, of Falmouth passed away Monday April 19, 2021 at her home. She was born in Washington, GA on August 3, 1941, daughter of the late William Howard Taft and Lela Jane Davenport Davis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Vardill Engle, sister Neda Jo, grandchildren Beverly Engle, Melissa Fugate and dear friend Don Petty.
Survivors include children William (Janel) Engle, Deborah Engle, brother W.T. “Dub” Davis, sisters Dorothy Slanders, Thelma Mabry and Mildred Shankle. Grandchildren Hunter Engle, Nathan Bundy, Gage Engle, Cody Engle, Daniell (Cody) Clark, great grandchildren Chad Clark, Bristol Clark, Alex Clark, Annabella Lady and loving friend Ellen Petty.
Visitation will be held from 11-1 p.m. Thursday April 22, 2021 at the Peoples Funeral Home-Butler. Funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Highland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Peoples Funeral Home.
