Newport — James E. "Big Bull" Turner, 73, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Coldspring Transitional Care.
He was born in Jackson, KY on May 22, 1951, son of the late Frank and Sally Deaton Turner.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were son, Ricky Turner; and sister, Gladys (Enoch)Stamper.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Darlene Combs Turner; children, Robert (Kender) Turner, Jim (Amber) Turner, Georgiana Turner; brothers, Clarence (Shirley) Turner, William (Beverly) Turner, Herman Turner, Lewis Turner, John (Marsha) Turner, David (Amanda) Turner, Barry Turner, Charles Turner; sisters, Ilene (Jimmy) Joseph, Glenda Turner; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Peoples Funeral Home, Butler.
James final resting place will be at Peach Grove Cemetery.
