Howard “Sugar” Harden, 59, of Falmouth, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at his home. Born on March 1, 1965 in Campbell County, KY, he was a son of the late Howard Sr. and June Haley Harden. On July 21, 1989 he married Shelly Bishop and she survives his passing. He was a retired Heavy Equip Operator for the State Hwy Dept., attended Falmouth Wesleyan Church, and had many hobbies including coaching his kids in sports, listening to music, and following the Cleveland Browns. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family that he dearly loved; especially his grandbabies. Sugar loved to socialize around town and he never met a stranger.

In addition to his wife Shelly, he is survived by two children, Richard (Casey) Harden and Tiffany Gail (Carl Hutchison) Harden; two siblings, Candy Stanfield and Greg Mckinney; seven grandchildren, Bailey Wolfe, Reagen Wolfe, Trinity Wolfe, Cooper Bear, Liam Harden, Vance Harden, Phoenix Harden; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Randy and Timothy Mckinney.

Funeral services wil be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16 at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth with Charlsey Turner officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Mike Robinson, Richard Harden, Carl Hutchison, Barry Dennie, Rick Stanfield, Zach Bishop, Eric Whaley, Shawn Bishop, Ricky Bishop, and Harold Hall. The visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. preceding the service, also at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
