Gregory Lynn Oaks Jr., 47, of Demosville, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. Greg was born in Covington, KY on February 26, 1976, the son of Gregory and Patricia Burch Oaks.
Greg worked at Toyota and was a member of the NRA (National Rifle Association), ASR, and the IBO (International Bowhunter Organization).
In addition to his parents, Greg is survived by his son Hunter Samuel Oaks; Fiancé Kimberly Mullen; son Austin (Christina) Pyles; daughter Kaitlyn (Ryan) Mains; brother Jonathan (Donna) Oaks; grandson Orion Pyles; granddaughter Fraeya Hill; nephew Levi Oaks; nieces Kilee, Abbey, and Bree Spegal, Kayla Schalk; special son Lance Kattenhorn and his children; mother and father-in-law Bill and Kathy Mullen; and sister and brother-in-law Kelly and Corey Schalk.
Greg is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Maurice and Anna Burch, paternal grandparents Wilbur “Bill” and Thelma Jean Oaks, and grandson Silas Pyles. Many tremendously loving friends, “brothers” and family have made his life as truly special as he was!
Visitation and funeral services were held from on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler.
Interment will take place privately at the Oaks Family Cemetery in Demossville, KY.
