Gladys Johnson Brewer, 69, of Falmouth, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the River Valley Nursing Home in Butler. Born on April 18, 1953 in Hyden, KY, she was a daughter of the late George and Edna Wilson Johnson.
Gladys was a trusted friend to many at the Bedford House community, where she enjoyed cooking and baking for the residents. She loved working puzzles and making all kinds of crafts to share with her family and friends. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sherry Lynn Brewer Hunt of Falmouth, KY; grandchildren Kaedin Whitaker, Ryan Whitaker, Maranda Galliher, and Timmy Gaylor; siblings Nadine Brown of DeMossville, Ruby Bowling of Falmouth, Linda Howe of Grand Rapids, MI, Jr. Johnson of Savannah, TN, and Arbert Johnson of Butler; her special friends and neighbors at the Bedford House; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Mae Brewer on July 19, 2017; and siblings Lois Brown, Floyd Johnson, Raymond Johnson, Charles Johnson, and Barlow Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Donna Sue Barger officiating. The visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday preceding the service.
