Frances Lorraine Gallagher, 91

Bonnie Whitaker Milner, 68, of Berry, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the University of  Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
    Born on August 12, 1953, in Harrison County, KY. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Clark and Elizabeth Earle Courtney Whitaker.
    For several years, Bonnie worked as a CNA at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. She attended the Berry Community Church, and she passionately supported veterans through her work with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hardin-Browning Post #109 and the Task Force Omega of Kentucky, Inc., where she was recognized in 2007 for her dedication to POW/MIA issues. Bonnie was a Kentucky Colonel and a gifted writer, being honored as a Licking River Writer’s Finalist by the Cynthiana Arts Council. Caring for others was the hallmark of her life. She loved her family and friends, and she sought out ways to be helpful. Bonnie took an active part in many Falmouth and Berry community events.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Orla Whitaker, and a sister, Jo Ella Cope.
    She is survived by her sons Danny Milner of Berry, Randy Milner of Dry Ridge, Andy Milner of Wilder, and Jimmy Milner of Berry; grandchildren Justin Spicer, Brooklyn Milner, Aaron Milner, Ashley Milner, and Aydin Milner; brothers Arthur Layne Whitaker of Berry and Allen Whitaker of Butler; and a host of extended family and friends.
    Funeral services were held on Monday, October 4, 2021, at the Woodhead Funeral Home in Berry  with Bro. Keith Hemphill officiating.
    Interment took place in the Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry.
