Emma Herald, 90, of Butler, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at her home.
She was born in Morning View, KY on September 2, 1932, daughter to the late Paul and Minnie Borkers Damon. Emma was a member of Butler Baptist Church and a graduate of Simon Kenton High School.
In addition to her parents, Emma is preceded in death by her first husband, John Hammer, and her second husband, Lee Herald, son Lester Lee Herald, grandchild Sherita Swofford, one sister, and two brothers.
Survivors include her children Ronald Herald, Danny Herald, Sue Williams, and Kathy Herald; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 22, also at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate.
