DONALD COLE
Donald S. Cole, 88, of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Feb. 23 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Donald was born in Cynthiana, KY on Sept. 9, 1935, the son of the late Fred and Cecile Henry Cole.
Donald was a member of the First Baptist Church in Falmouth and loved riding motorcycles and collecting guns. Donald retired after 30 years as a machinist from Powell Structures.
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his first wife Ruby Cole; sons Sterling Cole, Robert Cole, and Donald Cole Jr.; and brother Darrell Cole.
He is survived by his wife Marcella Cole; daughters Venus (Chuck) Moore, and Dionna (Jerry) Tucker; stepsons John (Lori) Staggs; brothers Tony Cole, Fred Cole Jr.; sisters Carolyn Chambers, Connie Cole; grandchildren Donald Moore, Millie Lowery, James Bruner, Sterling Cole Jr., Bambi Winkle, Amy Winkle Mullins, Robert Cole, Derik Cole; great-grandchildren Payton Tucker, Malachie Florence, Gage Florence, Wessley Toomey, Briar Moore, Kendia Record, Benjamin Poe, Booklyn Mullins, Alexa Lang, Travin Lang; and sister-in-law Sandra Toomey.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb 27 at the First Baptist Church in Falmouth. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1 p.m., also at the church.
Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
