David Joseph ‘Joe’ Brockman, Jr., passed on from this life on December 4, 2023 in his home in Warren County, Ohio. Joe was born November 3, 1971 at Bethesda North Hospital in Hamilton County, Ohio to Deborah and David Brockman.

He proudly served in the Army from 1990-1994 as a Tactical Power Generation Specialist. He was last stationed in the 501st Signal Battalion of the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, where he was honorably discharged. During his service, Joe was decorated with many awards, recognitions and badges. He was the recipient of the Air Assault Badge, the Drivers Badge, the Mechanics badge and received the max score of the Hand Grenade Assault Course. Some of Joe’s many interests included writing and singing music, art and skiing. But, most importantly, his heart was fulfilled by spending time with his children and grandchildren. Joe always knew how to make someone smile and knew the perfect words to say. When he said he loved you, he really meant it.

Joe will be dearly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Deborah Brockman, David (Rhonda) Brockman; children Brittany (Travis) Alsip, Ethan Brockman, Aidan Brockman; siblings Rob (Andrea) Brockman, Amy (Larry) Hoffman; grandchildren Kylie, Sophia, Diesel, Jeremiah, and Emma; and nieces and nephews Robbie, Katie, Laranda, and Lydia.

Visitation and funeral services were held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler.

Memorials, if desired, are suggested to Peoples Funeral Home to help offset funeral costs.
