Curtis Cox, 87

Falmouth — Curtis Cox, 87, of Falmouth, passed away at St. Elizabeth, Ft. Thomas Hospital June 20, 2025.

He was born in Foster, on June 14, 1938, son of the late Buford and Sally Applegate Cox.

Curtis was a truck driver for Sears and U.S. Shoe, a member of the Teamsters union, and a devoted member of New Zion Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents were his wife, Wanda House Cox; son, Christopher Cox; daughter, Angela Fern Cox; brothers, Chanis, Edward “Buck,” Delmar Cox; and sister, Fletchie Sorrell.

Surviving him are sons, Randy (Karen) Cox, Todd (LeeAnn) Cox; daughters, Karen (Keith) Belcher, Sandra (David) Wilson; brother, Delbert (Addlyn) Cox; aunt, Wanda Smith; grandchildren, Brad, Courtney Cox, Clinton Wilson, Cassie McCain, Keaton, Kane, Kurt Belcher, Hunter Cox; great-grandchildren, Anna, Cora, Bryce, David, Jack, Kaleb, Larkin, Lucy, Brooks, Ryver and Clay.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2:00 pm, at Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth. Funeral service will immediately follow, also at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.

Memorials, if desired, can be made out to Christopher Cox Memorial.
