Colton Douglas Buckner passed away October 6, 2022 after a brave battle with adenovirus.
He was born on June 4, 2018 to Josh and Bridgett Buckner in Louisville, KY. Colt was a truly amazing child. He was the BEST little boy! He was always happy and smiling, sweet, caring, and the best big brother. Colt loved being outside on the trampoline, riding his bike, playing in the sandbox, and helping feed the goats on his farm. He really enjoyed attending preschool at Crestwood Baptist Church. Colton loved books, Paw Patrol, Blaze, his dog Willow, and his stuffed goat who was always by his side. He had a fantastic summer celebrating his birthday at the beach in Florida and camping and boating with family at Lake Cumberland. Our family will forever cherish these precious memories.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his little sister Claire Buckner; grandparents Douglas and Joyce Buckner, Rick and Charlotte Claus; great-grandma Janet Bagley; aunts Jaime (BJ) Moore, Janet (John) White, Cassie Bagley, Christie (Tedd) Jewell; and many cousins and great aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life for Colton will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, is serving the family.
