Carl Hord Willoughby, 93, of Butler, KY, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at his home.

Carl was born March 1, 1931. He was the son of Allen and Mayme Willoughby. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Carl retired from Sears. He was a faithful member of Second Twelve Mile Baptist Church, served as Sunday school teacher and trustee. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and all sports.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alleen Myers Willoughby; his parents and 3 siblings: Lona Kemplin, Allen Willoughby, and Bill Willoughby.

Carl Is survived by 4 children: Carlene (Bill) Goins, Gail (Paul) Haverbusch, Susan (Greg) Koeninger and Carl (Laura) Willoughby; 14 grandchildren: Jonathan Roseberry, Aaron Roseberry, Erica Bockerstette, Paul Haverbusch, Kyle Haverbusch, Houston Haverbusch, Mariah Bullard, Liana Haverbusch, Alex Koeninger, Austin Koeninger, Allie Wolf, Adam Koeninger, Axel Willoughby, Mazie Willoughby, and 14 great grandchildren.

Services were held, April 7, 2024, at Second Twelve Mile Baptist Church Butler.

Interment with Military Honors were at the Peach Grove Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Second Twelve Mile Baptist Church.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Alexandria Funeral Home.
