Blanket Creek
Message Sunday, was from Isiah 53. We also had communion this morning. Bro. Greg shared the importance of this tradition. The bread represents Christ's body and the juice represents His blood that was shed on the cross for all of us. Bro. Greg also shared the Matzos bread which is unleavened bread that you can see through. This is the bread we used today. Jesus was beat, bruised, pierced and received 41 stripes with the whip for our sins so we could have the choice of an eternal life with Him. Remember the sick and shut ins as well as the family of Kacy Cornett.

Greetings friends, spring is a lovely time of the year. All the seasons have their beauty but the sights we see in spring are some of the best. Praise God for spring!
Who do you turn to when things go wrong? Do you rely on your own strength? No matter what throws at you, you can rely on God. Praise God!
The ladies will be having their next meeting on Friday , April 17 at 7.
If you are spring cleaning keep in mind that the Mt. Mission truck will be here June1.
We so appreciate all of those who do any work for the church but we have to send our appreciation to Ken Campbell for the beautiful new sink, counter top and sink cabinet he made and installed this week. The ladies were so happy on Sunday.
Please keep our sick, sad, lonely and broken hearted in your prayers.
Enjoy each moment this week and give your praise to God.

Bro. Mark’s message was from John 14:15-27.
Let not your heart be troubled. If you love me, obey me, and I will ask the Father and he will give you another Comforter (Holy Spirit), and he will never leave you. The world at large cannot receive him, for it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you do, for he lives within you now. Anyone who doesn’t obey me doesn’t love me.
The peace you receive when you accept the Lord is such a comfort. There is no condemnation in those who believe in God. No separation from God.

April 2, we held a Maundy Thursday service, a reflection of Jesus’ last supper with his disciples.
On Saturday, the kids had an Easter egg hunt at the church. We welcomed Sunday with Sunrise service at 7 a.m., the message – Despair to Overwhelming Joy, we then enjoyed a light breakfast, and our Sunday school hour started at 10 a.m.
The morning worship at 11 am was full of hope as we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! The children’s message, The Case of the Empty Tomb was from John 20:1-18, followed with scripture reading by Kiersten Beighle. The Praise team had special music, and Bro. Dale brought the message, Our Hope: The Resurrection, from 1 Corinthians 15:19-22. The importance of accepting Jesus as your personal Savior is, “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:11
