BROOKSVILLE — William Orville “W.O.” Figgins, 90, passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026.
He was born June 12, 1935, to the late George Earl and Martha Mae (Perkins) Figgins.
He was a member of Fairview Christian Church, where he served as an elder and a board member. He was also a past Bracken County school board member and served as a CASA volunteer.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Easton (Fury) Figgins, whom he married June 25, 1954. He is also survived by his children, Gary (Cheri) Figgins, Ricky (Lesa) Figgins, Randy (Kim) Figgins, Rhonda (Jeff) McCord and John Mark (Debbie) Figgins; 13 grandchildren, Ryan Figgins, Brandon Figgins, Tyler Figgins, Kylie Figgins, Zachary Figgins, Joshua Figgins, Nicholas Figgins, Kirk Figgins, Dana Johnson, Kevin McCord, Ashton Figgins, Luke Figgins, and Logan Figgins; and 29 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Robert Earl Figgins.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jean King.
Funeral were Feb. 27, 2026, at Fairview Christian Church. Burial is at Johnsville Cemetery.
