Butler — May Ann Ammerman, 84, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Ft. Thomas.
She was born in Butler, on May 3, 1941, to the late Harry L. and Opel Fardo Caldwell
May Ann was a member of the Mt. Moriah Christian Church and she enjoyed playing piano, and the organ.
In addition to her parents, May Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ammerman; and grandson, Jacob Ammerman.
She is survived by her son, Bobby (Angie) Ammerman; step-sons, David Lee Ammerman, Darryl Ammerman; grandchildren, Emily (Diego) Marquez, Arielle, Ally, Mason Ammerman; step-grandchildren, Austin Davis, Lelsie, Dan, Elliott Noel; great-grandchildren, Elena and Luke Marquez.
Services were held Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Serving as pallbearers were Bobby, Mason and David Ammerman, Brent Moore, Robby Caldwell, Jason Bockerstette. Honorary pallbearers were Darryl Ammerman, Donald Caldwell, Billy and Ronnie Brownfield
Burial took place at Butler Cemetery.
