Jerry Lynn Beagle, 85

Cordova — Jerry Lynn Beagle, 85, of Cordova, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at his home.

Born on June 28, 1940, in Pendleton County, he was a son of the late Hubert Earl and Margaret Alene Pulliam Beagle.

On June 3, 1972, he married Rita Jean Epperson Beagle, and together they shared a wonderful life for 54 years, making memories with their family and friends and enjoying every day on their farm. A well-known Grant County farmer, Jerry felt like a man on top of a mountain every time he got on a tractor.  He loved all of his animals, especially his Belgian horses, which were his pride and joy. His favorite pastime was going to horse pulls and pulling his team of Belgians. Jerry worked hard every day until he couldn’t, and he always looked forward to any time outdoors.  He loved his family, and he and Landon (grandson/son) were inseparable. Jerry was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds & UK Basketball.

Jerry was also preceded in death by his son, David Harold Beagle; three brothers, Tommy Beagle, Gary Beagle and Audrey Beagle.

In addition to his devoted wife and faithful caregiver Rita, he is survived by three daughters, whom he loved dearly,  Kathy Lynn Gregory, Mary Ann (Jimmy) Evans, and Dawn Beagle; five grandchildren,  Jena Grant, Dani Wells, Megan Arthur, Trent Evans, and Landon Beagle; six great-grandchildren, Cody Fitzgerald, Jase Arthur, Kyzie Arthur, Jackson Arthur, Sofie Arthur, Charlie Evans; two sisters, Karen Beagle, of Falmouth and Sharon Wegford, of Butler; his sister-in-law, Brenda McClanahan; and a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside services are being planned after the winter storm advisory has been lifted.
