Falmouth — Teddy Leon Hurst, 87, of Falmouth, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026.
He was born in Brooksville, on September 6, 1938, son of the late Clarence and Minnie Hensley Hurst.
In addition to his parents, Teddy is preceded in death by his wife, Martha “Tootsie” Reid Hurst; brothers, Donnie Hurst, Gary Hurst; and sister, Linda Hurst.
Survivors include his sons, Roger (Amy) Hurst, Chris (Diane) Hurst; brothers, Eugene Hurst, David Hurst; sisters, Louise Borucki, Kathy Gutridge; grandchildren, Fisher K. Hurst, Christopher L. Hurst II, Kristen Hope Hurst; great-grandchildren, Lillian and Gunnar Hurst.
Services were held Friday, January 23, 2026, at Grassy Creek Christian Church, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home.
Burial took place at Gardnersville Cemetery.
