Blanket Creek
The message was taken from John 6 the story of feeding the 5,000.
In this scripture Jesus was testing the disciples. He ask them how they were going to feed that many people. They didn’t have a clue where that much food would come. In the crowd was the boy with barley loaves and 2 small fish. If Jesus can take that and feed that many shouldn’t we trust Him to feed us as well.
Be willing to share what you have and you will be blessed.
Please remember the families of Tracy Gosney, Steve McClanahan Sr., Brenda Bowen, Jim Barnes and Mildred Vanlandingham.

The road conditions weren’t the best today, Jan. 11, but God truly blessed our service. Pastor’s message was so powerful with five strong points. “A Testimony of Jesus” was the title and being distinguished, despised, dedicated, demonstrative and declarative were a powerful combination for encouragement on this wonderful morning.

Using Luke 22:42 as text, Bro. Kevin talked about “Surrendering to God.” Surrender is an act of faith. Surrender changes us even when circumstances remain. Surrender unites our will with Christ’s.

Bro. Mark’s message was from 1 Peter 4:7-10.
Be earnest and thoughtful of prayer. Continue to show love for each other. Love will make up for many of your faults. Can we show love to one another without action? We aren’t perfect. But don’t sit back and wait. When God puts someone in your mind pray for them.
God has given each of us special abilities, be sure to use them to help each other, passing on God’s blessings. Don’t be ignorant of the signs of the times to come. Each day we are one day closer.

Week two of our "Wait training" was a powerful reminder of what it looks like to trust God’s timing rather than our own as we studied Jeremiah 29 together.
The week was made even more meaningful as we celebrated two baptisms—an exciting and faith-filled start toward our goal of 62 baptisms this year. As we look ahead, there is so much to be thankful for and even more to be excited about.
Our Financial Peace University classes will begin on January 25, equipping individuals and families with practical, biblical tools to steward their finances well. We are also eagerly anticipating Vision Sunday on February 1, where we will share the heart and direction for the year ahead.
This year, our focus centers on two key initiatives: reaching the forgotten in our community and launching a health initiative that supports wholeness in body, mind, and spirit. We believe God is moving, and we are expectant for what’s ahead.
