Butler Christ Community

Greetings friends. We’ve made it into a brand New Year, so let’s start out right!

If one of your resolutions was to attend church this year I know the perfect place for you. Butler Christ Community Church welcomes you. We are friendly, small enough to know you as family and God loving.

Pastor Ron Schwarberg preached straight from the Bible.

It’s a new year, make that decision that will give you eternal life, join us each Sunday at 11 a.m.

The littles of the church delivered hand made cards to Mary Ann during the service on Sunday. It made us all cry.

The Mt. Mission truck will be here the January 26.

Please pray with us for Ashton, Ben, Jeremy, Cherry's nephew, Barb's family, Jerry Jolly, those who are grieving and hurting.

God bless you and hope to see you Sunday.

Bro. Mark’s message was from John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Do you have too much peace in your life? I have yet to meet someone who does.

Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows, but cheer up, for I have overcome the world.  God knows what’s coming. Can He calm the storms of your life? Of course!

Jesus said, let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there you may be also.

Today marked an incredible first Sunday of the new year for our church, setting a strong and hopeful tone for the months ahead. The service was filled with joy as two individuals made decisions to give their lives to Christ, a moment celebrated by the entire congregation, and two baptisms were announced for next Sunday.

The church also celebrated its year-end report, reflecting on God’s faithfulness and the impact made over the past year. In addition, the first week of our WAIT Training season officially began, launching a focused time of spiritual growth and preparation.

Looking ahead, several key events were highlighted, including Financial Peace University beginning January 25, Vision Sunday on February 1, Super Bowl Sunday on February 8, Night to Shine on February 13, and Race Day Sunday on February 15.

With lives being changed and a clear vision for the future, the church enters the new year with purpose, unity, and excitement for what lies ahead.

A New Covenant was Bro. Dale’s message Jan. 4th.

“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,” Jer 31:31. Then the new covenant was established when “… He took bread, gave thanks and broke it … saying , ‘This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.’ ” “Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My Blood, which is shed for you.’ ” Luke 22:19-20.

During the children’s message, Bro. Dale explained the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper and that we do this, to remember what Jesus did for us. Brystal Smith-Beighle read Mark 14:22-23, followed by special music.

This year several have committed to read the Bible through, join us in making time each day to read God’s word.
