Family legacy of military service

Pendleton’s Wolfes wore nation’s uniforms

    Paul A. Wolfe of Falmouth says he is part of a legacy of military veterans.

    His grandparents, Pendleton County residents Lance and Lucy Wolfe, had eight grandsons and one great-grandson, all from Pendleton, who served, of which he is one.

    “Dad had five boys and not girls,” Wolfe said. “When they started going into the service, one went right after the other. I got drafted right out of high school.”

    For Veterans Day, Wolfe put together a photo history of Wolfe family service.
