Blanket Creek
This week’s message “God Provides All” was taken from Matthew 6:25-33. As humans we tend to worry about an abundance of different things. Health, food, clothes, bills etc. When weighed down with the worries of this life go to the Bible and see how God can help and turn them over to Him.
Remember all on our prayer list, those who have lost loved ones this week, the lost and shut-ins. We will be participating in Trunk or Treat the 31st, Fall Festival at Steve and Vickie Carr’s Hayride and Chili cook-off the 25th and shoebox packing party November 9th immediately after church.

Bro. Mark’s message was from John 8:12-32.
Everybody saw Jesus do the same miracles but the outcome was always different. Jesus said, I am the Light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t be in darkness, for living light will flood your path. I can condemn you for much and teach you much, but I won’t for I say only what I am told to by the one who sent me. They still didn’t understand that Jesus was talking to them about God. When you have killed the Messiah, then you will realize that I am He. You are truly my disciples if you live as I tell you to and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.
Do you believe Jesus is Lord and Savior? Accept Salvation.

"When God Interrupts Your Life," was our Sunday school lesson this week. It was based on Hebrews 11 and as we see in the scripture, Abraham didn’t hesitate, with faith he followed God.
"A Heart Full Of Joy," from John 15:9—17 was the children’s message. Bro. Dale explained to the kids the difference in being happy and feeling joy, and even when we’re sad we can still have joy. Brently Florer read Acts 1:7-8 followed by the Praise team special. Bro. Dale’s message was Joy in Serving, Luke 24:40-53. We are not saved by works, but we are judged by what we’ve done for God.
In the evening service we enjoyed showing our appreciation for Bro. Dale and Ann. It was a great evening, we enjoyed hymns, the bell choir played, the Praise Team sang and Vaughn Beighle, Bro. Dale’s son had the message.
October is Pastor Appreciation month, be sure and let your pastor know what they mean to you.
