Butler — Tex Ray Pollard Sr., 84, of Butler, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, July 10, 2025. He was born in Crab Orchard, KY, on November 21, 1940, son of the late Johnny and Laura Adams Pollard.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his son, Clifford Lee Pollard; and brother, J.D. Pollard.
Surviving him are his sons, Greg (Donna) Pollard, Tex Pollard Jr., Tony (Linda) Pollard; brother, Raymond Gene Pollard; sister, Joann Belcher; grandchildren, Jillian Moorman, Maria Kurtz, Ashley McDaniel, Gary Pollard, Brittny Steinmetz, Nikki Pollard, Teri Stewart; and 11 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will follow, also at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Butler Cemetery.
