Blanket Creek
This week’s message was from Deuteronomy 6:4-18. "Things we need to teach our children." We need to teach them to read the Bible everyday. Give them a Bible that they can comprehend at their level. Teach them that everything they have comes from God. Teach them how important it is to pray. America has forgotten the Lord. Verse 12 tells us to beware lest you forget the Lord.
VBS July 28-August 1st; Homecoming will be coming up in August as well. Date to be announced next week.
Pray for the family of Curtis Cox and others who have lost loved ones. The sick and shut-ins and unspoken request.

VBS testimonies continued this week with Brystal Smith-Beighle giving her testimony. It was amazing to hear this young lady share her take away from VBS this year, and the experience of a different adult leading the bible study each night. We were blessed each night to have 18 or more youth age attend!
The children’s message was Treasures In Heaven, from Luke 12:32-34; “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” v. 32. Presley Platt read Philippians 2:9-11, in verse 11 it states, “and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord.”
Bro. Dale’s message, “Heaven,” from Rev. 21:1-4. Verse one says, “Then I saw ‘a new heaven and a new earth, …” We can all see a new heaven and a new earth, but first we need to accept Jesus as Lord, to have our name written in the Book of Life. The alternative “And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Rev. 20:15.
