Falmouth — Geneva Helen Riddell Morris, 85, of Falmouth, passed peacefully Saturday, June 21, 2025.
Born on December 4, 1939, Geneva was one of seven children born to the late Leland Myers and Edith Parsley Riddell. A 1957 graduate of Simon Kenton High School, Geneva married Edward Franklin Morris on March 16, 1960, and together they raised their four girls before his untimely passing on December 30, 1991, at the age of 51. Stalwart in her love for her daughters and fortified with her faith, family, and friends, Geneva was a constant source of love, support, and inspiration for her girls, in every season of their lives and hers. From 1987 to 2013, Geneva worked at Northern Kentucky University in their education department, serving as an administrative assistant.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, husband, and son-in-law, were two sisters, Juanita Conner and Geraldine Workman.
Surviving to cherish her legacy are her four girls blessed to be her daughters, Patricia Edgley, of Alexandria, Kimberly Ishmael, Peggy (the late Brian) Wiggins, Karen (Chad) Bowling, all of Falmouth; six grandchildren, thankful to have her as their “Mamaw,” Andrea (Andy) Schultz, Brandon (Susan) Edgley, Melissa Wiggins, Laura (Tommy) Crawford, Sarah Wiggins, Keaton Kuhlman; 12 sweet great-grandchildren, Gavin, Bailey, Raegan, Spencer, Taryn, Jamison, Landon, Lillian, Quentin, Isabella, Gabriel, Nathaniel; siblings, Leland “Butchy” Riddell, Elizabeth Serra, both of Elsmere, KY, Shirley Niehaus, of Ft. Mitchell, Michael Riddell of Butler; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth.
Interment took place at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton County.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Pendleton High School ROTC Program.
