Butler Christ Community
Greetings friends.
We here at BCCC send our love and prayers to you.
It’s the season of love and we don’t want anyone to miss out on God's love.
Pastor Ron gave us a good message Sunday, that Salvation is easy to get. All you need to do is receive and confess that Jesus Christ was born, died and rose again for all your sins.
See how easy that was?
Looking ahead Ash Wednesday service will be held at 7p.m., March 5. You are invited to come and begin the Lenten season with us.
Please pray with us for all those who are sick, sad, lonely, brokenhearted and/or lost.
Remember God loves you and so do we.

Many local people are experiencing much sickness. Schools are being affected as well as churches. Keep as healthy as you possibly can and ask God to help you stay aware of good healthy habits.
Parking lot plans are in the making and we're excited! We are still accepting donations at this time.
God is good and so faithful to supply all our needs and sometimes even the desires of our hearts.

Bro. Mark’s message was from Exodus 4:1-2. This is about a conversation between Moses and the Lord which Moses expresses doubt about his ability to convince the Israelites of God’s existence. But Moses said, they won’t believe me. They won’t do what I tell them. They will say, Jehovah never appeared to you. God used what was at hand, a shepherd’s rod. Moses was told to cast it on the ground and it became a snake. When he picked it up, it became a rod again. Only God could have done this miracle. Moses asked God why would Pharaoh listen to me. He’s a leader of a huge country. And you want me to ask Pharaoh to let the people go.
When God calls us to do something he already has it worked out. We just have to listen. Don’t worry about anything. Just go.

On Sunday, we had Bible study at 10 a.m., then at 11 a.m. we entered our worship service; we observed the Lord’s Supper which is always a special time for a Christian. It’s a time to reflect on our life and what we are doing to follow the word of Jesus. A time to remember His sacrifice and death on the cross, “do this in remembrance of me.” I Cor 11:24.
Bro. Dale led the children’s message and explained to them that we would be observing the Lord’s supper and what that meant. He also told the kids about when the people entered the promised land, how the stones picked up by the Israelites before crossing the Jordan River represented their faith and God’s power. Joshua set up the stones in Gilgal as a marker for future generations.
Are we doing our part to help future generations know about Jesus?
