Blanket Creek Baptist
Scripture was from I Corinthians 14:40. “Let all things be done decently and in order.” God has a plan for the church and He wants us to do more each year and work together as led by Christ.
We have several families in the county who lost loved ones while we have been out of touch. Please remember all these families: Brent Gosney, Robin McClanahan Wiley, Ron Holland, Zeck Gregg, Robert Jenkins, Tonya Sweigert, Faye Thornton, Pat Ray, Nancy Vogel, Melvin Ramsey, Connie Ogburn, Mary Jane Fahabour and Patty Florence.

Bro. Mark’s message was from John 5:1-18. Jesus came to the pool at Bethesda. There lay a great multitude of sick folks on the platforms. They were waiting for an angel of the Lord to come and disturb the water. One of the men had been sick for 38 years. Jesus saw him and asked would you like to be healed? I can’t for I don’t have anyone to help me into the pool. While I am trying someone else gets ahead of me. Jesus told him stand up and go home. Instantly the man was healed. But this miracle was done on the Sabbath. The Jewish leaders began harassing Jesus for this.
Jesus replied, “My Father constantly does good and I am following his example.”
Jesus may not heal us physically but he does heal us spiritually. Jesus is the Son of God every day of the week.

We were blessed Sunday to worship in the Lord’s house.
The morning started with Sunday school at 10 a.m., where each week we dig deeper into Bible study.
During morning worship Barry Stephens & Andy led children’s worship; Miley Smith read Matthew 16:24-26; followed by the Praise team special, “I Speak Jesus.”
Bro. Andy McDonald, the KBC Regional Consultant for the North Central Region of Kentucky, brought our message.
He began by presenting the church with a 2024 Revitalization Award, 1 of 12 churches across the state receive this award. This award can be described as: “The supernatural work of God that restores health in a church, evidenced by submission to God’s Word, right relationships among members, and a renewed commitment to Great Commission ministry.” (SBC Revitalization Network).
The message was from I Peter 4:7-11. From verse 11 “If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.”
