FAITH & VALUES

January 21, 2025

New Life Wesleyan

We are watching our normal parking spaces become mud messes. Again, I want to make it known, we are still accepting donations for a new parking lot for our church. Any donations would be very greatly appreciated! We hope someday soon to drive in to a new parking lot. That's our goal at this time. And,we believe God will do it.

Have a blessed day. Have a wonderful week.

Enjoy this month of January with all the snow and ice.

God bless you.

Thank goodness the snow was not all that bad this Sunday morning. We did have church.

Bro. Kevin brought our message on "Living Water" using John 4:4-10 and John 7:38 as scripture. Jesus gives us "living water."

Bro. Mark’s message was from John 3:25-36.

God in Heaven appoints each man’s work. God is alive and well and works through us. Those who believe Him discover that God is a foundation of truth. All who trust God's Son to save them have eternal life. Those who don’t believe and obey Him shall never see Heaven, but the wrath of God remains upon them.

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

All things work together for good!

Turner Ridge

Welcome 2025! The year didn’t exactly start out as we planned, but it started out in God’s time.

We had prayer meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 1 and then didn’t get to worship together again until Sunday, Jan. 12. But the 12th was a great day, we met for Sunday school, then morning worship where the children’s message was "New Year Plans," from Jeremiah 29:11. "For I know the plans I have for you…" Brently Florer read Luke 13:26-28, followed by the Praise team special, "Knowing You."

Bro. Dale’s message was, "I Never Knew You," from Matthew 7:21-23. It was a sermon everyone should hear, it was the facts of knowing and building a relationship with Jesus. It’s more than just showing up at church or doing good, its about really knowing Jesus or you may be faced with "I Never Knew You." There will be a judgment. We shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. Read Matthew 10:32-33 and see if you are ready to be judged by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Following the worship service, we had a potluck meal together in the fellowship hall and began the year long celebration of our 150th anniversary.

We are so excited to see what God has planned for us during such a special year at Turner Ridge.
