Larry E. Wallace, Jr., 70, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024.
He was born in Kenton County, to the late Larry E. and Evelyn Mae Price Wallace on September 30, 1954.
Mr. Wallace was a loyal and dedicated employee to SJS, Inc. where he worked for 37 years. He attended Northside Baptist Church and Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. When not working, you could find him on a lake catching bass fish, going to the mountains to sight-see, or being the greatest “Pap” to his grandchildren.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, are sisters, Mary Bell, Onega Wallace; and his brother, Winfred Price.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Tiffany (Adam) Tackett, Richmond; son, Scott (Linzi) Said, Versailles; siblings, Virginia Pike, Carol Sams, Ruby Wallace, Thelma Wallace, Teresa Wallace, Benny Wallace, Randy Wallace, Charlotte Wallace, Ricky (Sandra) Wallace, Roy Wallace, Alvin (Sheila) Wallace; brother-in-law, Billy Bell, Fla; grandchildren, Amber, Owen, Miles, Jack, Presley, Dax, Oliver and Natalie;
Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Tuesday with funeral service to immediately follow, at Peoples Funeral Home, Butler, with Mike Flynn officiating.
Burial will follow at Butler Cemetery.
Serving as casket bearers will be Randy, Ricky, Roy, Benny, Alvie Wallace, Johnny Embry and Tim Jufer. Honorary casket bearers, will be his grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kincaid Bass masters kids tournament in memory of Joey F. Wells.
