Sherry J. Morris, 74, of California, KY, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024. She was born in Bell County, KY on November 20, 1949, daughter of the late Gilbert and Gracy Rose Searcy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Calvin and Keith Searcy.
Sherry was a member of the Church of God in Alexandria, KY and a retired nurse at River Valley Nursing Home.
Survivors include her husband Jerry Morris; children Jerry (Erin) Morris Jr., Lisa (Wayne) Warren and Robin (Mike) Gramke; siblings Carol Dickerson, Mary Morris, Fannie Harrell, Patsy Garvey, and Jeff, Robin and Chris Searcy; grandchildren Rachel (Jason) Wilder, Jacob Morris, Matthew Warren, Joshua Morris, Madison Gramke and McKenna Gramke; and great-grandchildren Weston, Lyla and Lainey Wilder.
Visitation and funeral services were held on Thursday, November 14 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler.
Interment took place at Peach Grove Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
