Roma Katherine Stuard, 85, of Falmouth, KY, passed away at Harrison Memorial Hospital on Friday, September 20, 2024. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on December 24, 1938, daughter to the late Ancil and Roma Browning Hurst.
Roma grew up in Richmond, KY, and attended Eastern Kentucky University. She was a die-hard Cincinnati Bengals fan and part of the Sharonville Book Club; she was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Scrabble with her grandkids. Roma retired from the Seybold International Company and was a teacher for many years at various schools in Kentucky and Ohio.
Survivors include her daughter Julie (Darin) Hart, stepsons Joseph and Chris Stuard and their father Charles Stuard, grandchildren Haley (Daniel) Slover and Holley Hart, great-grandchildren Claire and Sabrina Slover, and nephews Sam and Simon Stuard. In addition to her parents, Roma is preceded in death by her sister Margaret Ellis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler, KY on Wednesday, September 25, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
