FALMOUTH — Need a great excuse to go golfing? Fine-tune your swing and immerse yourself in the sport of golfing amongst the majestic vistas of Pendleton County, Kentucky.
Hosting two courses, Pendleton County offers a unique experience for the beginner as well as the skilled golfer who wants to be challenged.
Kincaid Lake Golf Course boasts a beautiful nine-hole course that sits 250 feet above the 150-acre Kincaid Lake and offers some of the most panoramic views.
Each hole offers four sets of tees with the beginner in mind and caters to the advanced golfer as well.
Built in 2004, this course is open year-round with well-groomed fairways and greens nestled amongst 58 acres where wildlife is abundant.
Unique to the Kincaid course is a “state of the art” indoor golf simulator with technology to analyze your golf swing or just to enjoy golfing indoors when the weather is not conducive.
The course is open all year from 8 a.m. to one hour before dusk and includes a putting and chipping green. Weekday scheduled tee times are not required but must be reserved for the weekend.
After a great day of swinging clubs, golfers can relax in the small eatery located in the pro shop.

Located in Butler, Pendleton Hills is one of the top-rated golf courses in the region.
With 18 holes, it offers challenging elevation changes, water hazards and quick greens.
With a four-time Senior PGA Champion golf pro on site to offer golf lessons, you can improve your game, no matter your skill level and make an impact on your golfing experience. Lessons are available for all ages.
You can also improve your swing on the driving range before hitting the course where every shot gets you closer to mastery.
The course is open, weather permitting, every day from 7:30 a.m. to dusk. A small restaurant and bar are open where you can sit and relax after a great time swinging on the greens.
