CORRECTIONS FROM 10/24/23 EDITION OF THE FALMOUTH OUTLOOK
• In last week's edition, the front page story, "Federal investigation pending after domestic violence call takes turn," the article said Officer Brody Schmeng was called to Wells Open Air Market by dispatch. The establishment should have been referred to as "Falmouth BP."
• Also, the article,"City of Falmouth and county tug-of-war escalates as county calls for lawsuit against Falmouth," the article made reference to planning and zoning agreement not being renewed by the city. According to County Attorney Stacey Sanning, the agreement automatically renews unless terminated. The city did not terminate it until October 13, 2023.
• She also clarifies, "The animal control agreement did lapse in September 2022, but neither the city nor county noticed it until after July 1, 2023--and not until October 13, 2023 did the city give the county notice that the animal control officer was no longer responsible for enforcing the city's ordinance."
