Betty Lou Mains Nichols, 71, of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.
Born on December 1, 1951 in Covington, KY, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Ruth Wagner Mains. On November 6, 1970 she married Donnie Nichols and he survives her passing. She was a member of the Roanoke Christian Church and loved quilting, cooking, attending services and activities at church and mostly, spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband Donnie, she is survived by two daughters; Amy Messer, Stephanie (David) Bishop; a brother, Barry (Debbie) Mains; four grandchildren, Melissa (Brandon) Mudd, Heather (Scottie) Messer, Joshua (Shellie) Corcoran, Devin Bishop; six great-grandchildren, Brook, Hayden, Ember, Hailey, Harvey, Hadley; and her two fur babies, Bruiser and Remi.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Nichols; a brother, Billy Mains, two sisters, Bonnie Jo Nichols, Becky Hardin; and her cat Oreo.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Roanoke Christian Church with Bro. Benny Robbins and Clay Sullivan officiating. The visitation will be held on Monday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth.
Interment will take place at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
