Himes competes in NKY Junior All-Star Game

On June 13, Avery Himes represented the Pendleton County Ladycats fast pitch softball team at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare All-Star Softball series.

Himes took part in the Junior All-Star Game at Dixie Heights High School in Erlanger. Himes collected a couple of hits and played left field, right field and second base during the game.

In her junior season as a member of the Ladycats, Himes batted .286 in 24 games. She has been a part of the two regional championship teams in 2019 and 2021.

Himes was also recently named to the KSCA All-Academic First Team and also named to the Dean's list at NKU under the Young Scholars Academy. She is the daughter of Daniel and Ashley Himes.

Congratulations Avery on all of your recent achievements. She will compete for the Ladycats soccer team and softball team for her senior season beginning this fall.
