ANGIE CUNNINGHAM
Patrick Craig “Pat” “Coach” Moyer, 79, passed away on May 27, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY, from a sudden illness.
Pat was born in Portland, OR on Dec 31, 1943, but raised in Pendleton Co, the fifth son of Herbert C. Moyer, Sr., and Hilda Mae (Craig) Moyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, by his siblings, Gary, Stanley “Buddy”, Dennis “Moe,” and Rebecca “Becky” Moyer.
Survivors include his life partner, Bonnie Bray; son, Craig (Jill) Moyer; daughter, Michelle Hemsteger; Bonnie’s daughter, Christie Bray; siblings, Herbert C. “Herb” (late Linda) Moyer, Jr., Cheryl (Gary) Royalty, Angie (late Gary) Cunningham, and Beverly (John) Graver; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Pat was a Navy veteran, a retired USPS worker of 40 years, and a coach for track, cross-country, and football at Dixie Heights High School. He also drove a school bus for many years.
He loved running/walking and participating in races, even completing a 5K on Sunday, May 21st, motorcycling, golfing, traveling, reading, and meeting new people, but he always had time for his “old” friends and family. He had a zest for life and found joy in it every day.
Services were at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington on May 30, 2023.
