Bernard “Dude” Hatton, 74

Bernard “Dude” Hatton, 74, of Falmouth, KY passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.

Dude was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 29, 1948, son of the late William and Aileen Rogers Hatton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Wayne Hatton.

Dude was a proud Army Veteran having served in the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper. Dude was also a member of the NRA. He had worked for William Kramer & Son as a roofer. He enjoyed hunting, four- wheeling, and being with his grandchildren. He was an avid jokester and prankster that never failed to make people laugh.

Dude is survived by his daughter Angela (Mark Mulloy) Hatton; sons Roger (Melissa) Hatton, and Billy Hatton; sister Denise Huffman; grandchildren Austin (McKayla) Hatton, Wyatt Hatton, Trevour Hatton, Gunnar Hatton, Brinna Hatton, Gracy Hatton, Brandon Hatton, Kolston Marshall, and Jarrett Mulloy; and Papaw’s girls EllaRose, Taylee, Riley, and Gentry Hatton, along with one more on the way.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:30 p.m., also at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at the Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery in Williamstown, KY.
