Bobby Joe Ammerman, 54, of Beattyville, KY passed Friday, December 9, 2022 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.
Formerly a resident of Falmouth and graduate of Pendleton County High School, Bobby obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the Eastern Kentucky University in Industrial Technology. Bobby was employed by the University of Kentucky Forestry Department as an extension agent. His passion with the wood industry began early in high school and continued throughout his life. He received several awards for his wood craftsmanship and earlier this year a classroom was named in his honor. Bobby was also an avid fisherman, UK fan, loved camping and traveling with his family.
His wife of 31 years (Leisa); his son (Michael); and sisters (Jennifer and Jessica) survive his passing.
Bobby’s parents (Ronnie Ammerman and Joyce Jones) preceded him in death.
Bobby also leaves a host of family members who loved him dearly.
