Gene Franklin Dennie, 83, of Falmouth passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Falmouth, KY on June 29, 1939, son to the late Russell and Georgia Hope McClane Dennie. Gene was a member of Blanket Creek Baptist Church. He retired from Newport Steel as a crane operator and worked at the Pendleton Co. Country.
Survivors include his wife Audrey Miller Dennie; sons Darrell (Monica) Dennie and Gary (Dina) Dennie; grandchildren Sadie Turner, Garrard and Derrick Dennie, Devin Applegate, and Josh Plummer; great-grandchildren Bradley and Lidia Plummer, Harley Osbourne, Cason and Brooklyn Applegate, Hayden, Reed, and Rhett Turner.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday October 22, 2022, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler with the funeral service immediately following at noon, also at the funeral home.
