Rodney Daryl Polly, 56, of Falmouth, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, in Bourbon County. Born on May 24, 1965, in Kenton County, KY, he was the son of the late Frances Holt and Robert Harold Polly.
He was a 1983 graduate of Pendleton High School. For over 20 years, Rodney worked as a foundryman with Grede Perm Cast. Formerly, he drove a truck for Griffin Industries, Rumpke, Best Way, the City of Falmouth, and EZ Pack. At the center of his life were his two daughters, their mother, and his grandchildren. Rodney loved his family dearly, and he planned his life around caring for and spending time with them. He also loved to fish.
He is survived by his two daughters, Heather Linville (Steve) and Madison Polly (Parker Luck), both of Falmouth; their mother and his dear friend, Tammy Polly of Falmouth; his two granddaughters Brileigh and Lilyana; his sister, Pam Haddix (Paul) of Falmouth; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth with Dr. Michael Schafer officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m. preceding the service.
