Beulah Hisel Winkle, 80

Beulah Hisel Winkle, 80, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the River Valley Nursing Home in Butler.  She was born on September 7, 1940, in Crittenden, KY, to the late Samuel Richard Hisel and Eva May Parker Hisel.  She would later marry Robert Winkle, and together they would raise 6 children together.  Robert preceded her in death in 1974.  
    Beulah was retired from the IRS, worked at Kincaid Lake State Park, was a bus driver for the Pendleton County School System, and worked at Wal-Mart.  With her big heart and caring nature, she was also a foster parent.  Beulah was a very active member of the Butler Baptist Church and was willing to help out whenever needed. She enjoyed serving with Operation Christmas Child, the food pantry, and VBS.  
    Beulah was also preceded in death by 3 children:  Richard Lee Winkle, Lawrence William Winkle, and Robert Woodford Winkle, Jr., and her siblings:  Robert Hisel, Jay Hisel, Gene Hisel, James Hisel, Lester Hisel, Mary Hisel Greenwell, Clara Hisel Whitton, Ruth Hisel Kendall, and Juanita Hisel Winkle.
    Surviving her passing are her children:  Sandy K. (James) Hughes of Butler, Donnie Ray (Phyllis) Winkle of Butler, and Sam (Molly) Winkle of Erlanger, KY; William Anthony Howard II, and Lauren Nicole Howard. Beulah was also the proud grandparent of Bill Howard (Julie Whittamore), Terry Howard, Christina Carroll, Bobbie Lee (Matt) Stubbeman, Michael (Holley) Winkle, Mandy Winkle, Brandie Herrell, Brandon (Shelby) Winkle, Megan (Travis) Arnold, Kayla Winkle, Jessi Marie (Jr.) McMullin and Jake Ranshaw.
    Beulah also had a special love for her great-grandchildren:  Adrianna Howard, Steven Lee Howard, Chance Isaac Howard, Brittany Carroll, Dustin Carroll, Ciara Stubbeman, Brianna Stubbeman, Eva Stubbeman, Matthew Stubbeman, McKenzie Herrell, Jayce Herrell, Nathan Herrell, Jaxon Herrell, Logan Winkle, Elijah Winkle, Autumn Winkle, Mercedes Winkle, MacKenzie Reid, Dixie McMullin, Dallas McMullin, Kelsy Howard, Carter Howard, Joshua Arnold, Mia Arnold, Kaine Shay, Keshawn Shay, and Kamron Shay.  She was a proud great-great grandmother to Lilly, Laila, Liam, Ariana, and one on the way.  Beulah is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
    Services were held on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Butler Baptist Church with Rev. Daryl Mullins officianting. Interment took place at the Pythian Grove Cemetery in Berry, KY. Woodhead Funeral Home served the family.
