In a move that brings multiple benefits and opportunities for growth, Country Patchwork, owned by Cindy Brown, relocated to the building space in front of Wyatt’s Supermarket at 1308 W. Shelby St. formerly occupied by Kort Physical Therapy.
Brown has moved her business which specializes in quilting, fabric, arts and crafts in the past but sees this latest stop as her “forever home”.
“The decision to come here was an easy one,” she said. “The location draws a lot of traffic which brings the potential for more new customers and the space we now have inside will allow us to expand on things we’ve been doing over the past few years, particularly the quilting classes,” she added.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on the afternoon of May 21 which was attended by city of Falmouth mayor Ron Stinson, representatives from the Pendleton County Chamber of Commerce and many of Brown’s loyal customers and friends who have supported her business through the years. The grand re-opening was held on the afternoon of May 22.
Brown says the support she’s received from her customers and staff have been a major part of the success of Country Patchwork. Without them this new venture would not have been possible.
“I can’t thank my staff enough for the things they’ve done to keep our business going. Through the good and the bad, and through a pandemic they have been so reliable and some have even volunteered their time to help out and not asking for a thing in return”.
Country Patchwork is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday’s. Their business number is 859-951-1118.
