Louise Pettit (90) of Butler passed away Sunday May 9, 2021 at her home. She was born in Nashville, TN on January 9, 1931, daughter of the late Otto Carl and Nellie Louise Allen Foster. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James H. Pettit and four brothers.
Louise was a member of Butler Baptist Church for over 60 years and taught Sunday School for 54 of those years. She was also a member of KY Farm Bureau, 4-H, Pendleton Co. Homemakers and an avid blood donator.
Survivors include her children Jan Pettit, James (Jill) Pettit, Jon (Julie) Pettit, Jeff (Sara) Pettit, Jean (Jimmy) Wainscott, Jill (Chris) Allender and Jenni (Jon) Nugent, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm Thursday May 13, 2021 at Peoples Funeral Home-Butler. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, May 14, 2021 also at the funeral home.
