Jimmy Owens picks up extra $10k, Ty Majeski Snowball Winner

    Lucas Oil Late Model driver #20 Jimmy Owens who was the series national champion this year compiling eight wins, 25 top fives, and 29 top ten finishes also collected the $10,000 check as the GEICO TV Race Challenge winner.  The Challenge is made up of 38 televised events over the course of the season. Tim McCreadie and Josh Richards came in second and third winning $2,500 and $1,500.
    Snowball Derby saw Ty Majeski take the checkered flag after numerous attempts. He has led in over 330 laps and finished near the top three times in his attempts. Derek Thorn and Chase Elliott rounded out the top 3. Elliott had to win the last chance race to get into the feature.
    Dakota Stroup from Maceo, Kentucky finished eighth in the Pro Late Model feature.
    The Lucas Oil Chili Bowl is just over a month away on January 11-16. The premier sprint event will draw all the top drivers from across the country. The broadcast will be available for purchase on FloRacing.com. Chase Elliott will also be driving in this event.
    Daytona 500 as of right now will be allowed to have a limited number of fans attend.
    Hailie Deegan looks to be driving the #17 Ford in the truck series next season. Expect a big advertising push with her involvement and the skill to back it up.
    Spears Pro Late Model Series will start up next year out on the west coast with 10 events that will be televised by MAVTV
    Kyle Busch, who finished seventh in the Snowball Derby, is in first place on Monday Night Racing after two events. The eSport racing league has a few top drivers that compete in the series which can be viewed at Podium eSports.
