25 Years Ago - August 22, 2000The Pendleton County School Board voted at its Aug. 17 meeting to reduce the real estate property tax rate paid to the school district by property owners.The rate will be reduced from 40.3 percent per $1,000 of assessed value to 38.7 percent per $1,000 of value.
