25 Years Ago - June 6, 1995     The 1995 recipient for the Pendleton County High School Wall of Fame is Captain Bryan Kent Nordheim. Nordheim is a 1985 graduate and the son of Linda Thornton, assistant principal at Pendleton High School and Bobby Nordheim.

25 Years Ago - May 30, 1995     Pool opens at Kincaid Lake State Park for Memorial Day Weekend kicking off festivities. The 8oo acre park offers a wide variety of entertainment to escape the hectic work world and enjoy solitude and relaxation.

25 Years Ago - May 9, 1995     Falmouth City Council okays plans for new drug store. The drug store will be built in the vacant lot next to Dr. Wilbur Wilson’s office on West Shelby Street. The lot adjoining it will also be developed.     Amy Moreland has been named NKU Athlete of Distinction.

25 Years Ago - April 18- 25, 1995     Kentucky Wool Festival Quilt Block Contest: Entries will be on display during the festival October 6, 7, and 8. A cash award will be awarded for 12 quilt blocks chosen to be in quilt and become property of the KY Wool Festival.
