Butler and Falmouth have their councils

    It was a tale of two cities.     One city had six clear- cut choices to serve on city council on the night of Election Day.     One city had to wait three days for the absentee ballots deadline and a flip of the coin to have its full contingent of city council members.

Hart returning to Frankfort

Mark Hart, Republican incumbent, easily won his race for the Kentucky House of Representative 78th District seat. While absentee ballots may still come by Friday, November 6 and the results are not official till Monday, November 9, Hart ran up a huge lead.

Three incumbents continue on as Board of Education members

With no opposition, Karen Delaney 1st District, Amber Beebe 3rd District and Cheri Griffin 4th District will return to the Pendleton County Board of Education. Delaney received 1,009 votes. Beebe was first appointed to the seat and won an election for the seat.

Mark Hart easily carries Pendleton County

No Democrat rose up to challenge Mark Hart for his Kentucky 78th District House of Representative seat but he did face a challenge from James Toller, Libertarian. Hart easily won Pendleton County, 5,725 to 851. Harrison County and Scott County has not yet reported.

Decision is now in Fiscal Court's hands on wet/dry issue

Pendleton County voters overwhelmingly chose for the county to allow alcohol sales for the entire county. Yes received 4,703 votes or No received 1,946 "I like to thank the people of PC in showing up to vote on this issue," said District 2 Magistrate Josh Plummer who championed the issue.
