Emma Reid earned Valedictorian honors for the Class of 2021 of Pendleton County High School. “I am so blessed to receive this honor. It has been a long four years of hard, diligent work. I want to thank my parents and teachers for always encouraging me to do my best.

Uniform citation for domestic violence

    Pendleton County Deputy Sheriff was the responding officer to the domestic violence call at the home of Mark McClure.     The post-arrest complaint reads as follows:     “On 5/9/2021 at approximately 1:25 hours, myself and Falmouth PD Unit 111 B.

Special prosecutor and judge sought in McClure case

    Robertson County Attorney Jesse Melcher was recommended to the Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s  office by Pendleton County Attorney Stacey Sanning to serve as a special prosecutor in the case involving Falmouth Police Sergeant Mark McClure’s domestic violence charge.

A year with no camp

By Jason Anderson     This year, Camp Northward celebrates 80 years of service. Throughout those 80 years, the camp faced many challenges. Perhaps none of those challenges matched the ups and downs that Camp Northward faced last year.

Low-Income assistance for hom energy is available

    Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission is taking applications for an added spring subsidy program for Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis through June 30, 2021, or until designated funds are depleted.

Reflections on two righteous men

By Dave Shipp     I would like to reflect on two men mentioned in the April 27, 2021 edition of the Outlook:  Dr. Daryl Shipp, a physician, and Dr. Owen Collins, an educator and Christian minister.  In my world both Of these men’s resumes should be duplicated to leave a very positive  Legacy.

Camp Northward returns in 2021

By Jason Anderson 2020 was the year without camp. 2021 is the year the Camp Northward makes its return. Due to Covid restrictions, Camp Northward was not able to hold camp. This year will be different and the camp is preparing for a great return.

    The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) announces that a project to make long-awaited improvements on U.S. 27 in southern Campbell and northern Pendleton counties is to begin May 10.
