    The Senior class received a special treat this past week as the DeMoss Lodge No 220 Freedom & Accepted Mason’s served the class a delicious meal of hamburger, hot dogs, ribs,           coleslaw, potato salad, chips and cookies.       “The seniors were great!  They were so gracious and thankful.

Kincaid Lake State Park pool is ready

    “The pool is ready,” states Sebastian Ernst,  The opening of the pool requires weeks of preparation in order to be ready for Memorial Day weekend.   Ernst states that although draining, cleaning, filing and treating a pool sounds simple enough, it’s anything but.

    For over a year, Pendleton County Fiscal Court has been discussing the problem of shoulders on county roads and the issue is getting worse, not better, listening to the discussion at the May 18 caucus of Pendleton County Fiscal Court.

Farmer’s Market season celebration

    Pendleton County Farmers Market, located  at the beginning of the Pendleton County Fairgrounds, may have been operating for the past four weeks but they annually celebrate the market season on the last Saturday of May. That is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 29 this year.

Antique Tractor Show approaching

    The Licking Valley Antique Machinery Association will be hosting their annual tractor show on June 4 and 5 at Pendleton County Fairgrounds. On Friday, June 4, times are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, June 5, times are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
