    Barth Johnson and Jerry Miller, members of the Butler Lions Club spent Sept. 16 and 20 removing more than 50 discarded tires and a load of trash from the Licking River. The tires and recyclable trash were transported to a recycling center by the Pendleton County Solid Waste Coordinator Billy Steele, and the trash was hauled to the landfill.
