FALMOUTH — The Falmouth Outlook introduces summer intern Jemi Chew, who will be going into her junior year this fall. She hails from Singapore.
Primarily a features writer, she will also cover some government meetings. Jemi wrote all three Page 1 stories for this week, and her Pendleton County travels so far have taken her to Kincaid Lake State Park, Gene Synder Airport and the high school.
She is proving herself as a writer and photographer, and the Falmouth Outlook is happy to have her aboard.
Here is Jemi in her own words:
“Hi everyone!
“My name is Jemi Chew, and I will be interning at The Falmouth Outlook for 10 weeks this summer.
“I live in Lexington and am majoring in journalism at the University of Kentucky.
“My first week here has been wonderful, and I had the opportunity to visit some interesting places and talk to some cool people. I am excited to get to know the community more and I hope that you will give me the privilege to tell some of your stories.
